In this book a handful of farm animals are upset that the pigs are so dirty and messy. The farm animals tell the pigs what to do, but since the pigs seem to not know how to do chores, the farm animals do it for them. IN the end the pigs chuckle because they got their penn looking beautiful without lifting a finger. This was a super cute picture book that younger elementary school students would really enjoy. The author used a lot of onomatopoeia throughout the story which helped it flow and made it very interesting to read. The characters in this story were all animals which gave it an interesting perspective and would definitely appeal to children. The main idea of this story was a bit blurred, but I think that the author wanted to portray the point that what makes one person (or animal) happy may not be the same thing that makes another happy, but that it is okay to be made happy by different things! Though this wasn't my favorite Palatini book, it is still good. You can use it when teaching varied sentence length, rule of three, one word sentences, and onomatopoeia. They're all in there. Additionally, there's a lesson to be learned in there that could be un to pick out with students. Overall, this is a fun book. Upon closer inspection, this is a book with a lot to offer if you are a close reader. In Oink? a couple of pigs are assumed to be lazy, so the other farm animals do the pigs' work. In the end the pigs are happy because they did not have to do any work, even though they had planned to do it. This story shows how stereotypes are not true and that the reader should get to know a person before making assumptions. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

Frustrated because the pigs just lie around in the mud all day, the other animals on the farm try to make them improve themselves. Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |
