Thanks for the invitation, I know I'm going to get lots from this group.
Thanks for the invite, Ive been intending to accept since I first noticed it, but on the occassions I have "clicked" onto LibraryThing I have spent most of my time simply entering my books. I didnt realise what a mess my "collection" was in untill I started to catalogue it aaaaaaaaaargh!

What books really made me think ? such a simple question, but its got me rummaging through, not just my mental catalogue, but my physical collection of books - to see if the contents of books I thought were great have the same impact now. I'll let you know : )

Thanks for the invitation. I have posted my "think" books. best wishes, Ron
Hi Shanglee, you guessed right, I am an actuary..probably one of the very few in LT! Thanks for the invitation!
Hi! Thanks for inviting me. I must confess that I am an undisiplined reader. . . a list of books that made me think will require some thinking to compile, but I am easily led astray, and that's a more interesting task than some. Esta1923
Let me thank you for the invite, it looks to be an interesting site. I notice that you also belong to the Asian Fiction and Non-Fiction group. I have developed an interest in Asian Fiction especially stories based in Asian countries. I have read some Banana Yoshimoto. Most of the Haruki Murakami books and "Out" by Natsuo Kirino. I really enjoyed the 1993 Pulitzer Prize winning "A GooD Scent from a Strange Mountain stories" by Robert Olen Butler. Oh! I also love the character Detective Sonchai Jitpleecheep in John Burdett's Bankok 8. I love this novel and it's continuing Bankok Tattoo. Do you know of any Authors of Asian Fiction, especially Mystery/Thriller novels that I might like?
Hi Shanglee. Been away for awhile so I just saw your invitation to the Tai Chi group. Joined and posted an introduction. Hope to hear from you and the others soon.
Wow. I've been away for a while. Thanks for the invite.
Thanks for the invite. Sounds like a good idea for a group.
